Job summary

HITEC Power Protection BV is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on HITEC systems at customer sites in the Ashburn, VA area. You will travel as required, document activities, and communicate status clearly to customers while maintaining safety and professionalism.

The role emphasizes hands-on field work, coordination with service leadership, and upholding HITEC standards in service delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
• 6 months to 2 years of related electrical/mechanical maintenance or field service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret basic diagrams and technical documents.
• Strong communication, reporting, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive maintenance on HITEC systems with supervision.
• Perform electrical and mechanical inspections including rotating components, batteries, and cooling systems.
• Troubleshoot using diagrams, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Communicate findings and status to customers and internal teams.
• Prepare for jobs by reviewing scope, parts, tools, PPE, and customer requirements.
