Job summary

Superior Ind is seeking a Field Service Technician to troubleshoot mechanical issues, travel up to 75% and support customers with on-site services and training.

You will review scopes, service, calibrate, document field reports in CRM, and maintain safety certifications. Requires high school diploma or tech/trade training and a valid driver’s license. Medical, retirement, and travel perks are provided.

Qualifications

• Aptitude: Strong mechanical repair, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Electronics & IT: Solid background in electronics paired with robust computer knowledge.
• Schematic reading: Ability to read and interpret complex electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Heavy machinery: Comfortable and confident working on and around large equipment.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on Equipment Lifecycle Support: Service, commission, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, handling warranty work, annual inspections, and emergency calls.
• On-Site Operations & Safety Compliance: Maintain safe work habits on-site and keep MSHA certifications up to date.
• Documentation & Continuous Quality Improvement: Maintain field reports and CRM documentation; communicate root causes and corrective actions to engineering and product management.
• Relationship Building & Technical Training: Train dealers and clients on-site and foster internal cross-functional relationships.
• Travel, Logistics & Communication: Travel up to 75% domestically and coordinate travel with Field Service Manager.
