Job summary

Wallwork Truck Center provides mobile diesel repair services, seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks on the road, at customer sites, or at worksites. You will work independently, manage your day, and support the branch shop as needed.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills, the ability to work with little supervision, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. CDL class B or higher is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• At least five years of diesel technician experience.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• A Class B CDL is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, fuel, emissions, brake, steering, and hydraulic issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, component replacements, and test drives.
• Communicate repair findings clearly with customers and your supporting branch.
• Keep accurate service records and maintain your service truck, tools, and parts inventory.
• Respond to service needs while on call and assist in the shop as workload changes.

Take your diesel repair skills on the road. As a Field Service Technician, you’ll diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks wherever the work takes you, whether that’s over the road, at a customer location, or on a worksite. You’ll manage your work independently and support the branch shop when needed.
