Description

Morrison Industrial Equipment is seeking Full-Time Field Service Technicians at our Grand Rapids location at 1825 Monroe Ave. NW. If you have wrenching experience and strong mechanical knowledge, whether on vehicles or other equipment, this position is for you! Compensation ranges from $23-28/hour, based on experience.

Work hours are Monday-Friday, first shift, with 40 hours per week and opportunities for overtime.

This role requires a valid, good-standing driver’s license. Morrison Industrial Equipment maintains a strict drug-free policy, requiring pre-employment drug screening, a physical exam, and a background check.

Qualifications for Our Service Technicians:

• Strong Mechanical Aptitude and Abilities
• At least 2 Years of Mechanical Repair and Maintenance Experience
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Proficiency with Technology such as a Laptop or Tablet
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds for lift and move functions

A Field Service Technician travels locally to customer sites using a company van to perform repairs on a variety of products, with a focus on forklifts.

Essential Functions:

• Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns
• Communicate necessary repairs
• Complete work orders promptly
• Coordinate daily with Parts and Service Departments
• Maintain work van with supplies and cleanliness
• Interact professionally with customers
• Follow all safety procedures per FOM’s guidelines
• Attend shifts reliably and be ready to work
• Perform other duties as assigned
