Job summary

KASCO LLC. seeks a Field Service Technician to repair and service meat processing equipment at customer locations. You will perform maintenance, troubleshoot band saws, grinders, slicers, and related machinery while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and the ability to manage inventory, invoices, and schedules. Travel to diverse sites with a professional image and timely service is expected.

Qualifications

• Accredited high school diploma, business or trade school or GED.
• Excellent mechanical/electrical/electronic aptitude.
• Related technician repair skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and preventative maintenance, such as troubleshooting and repair on food processing equipment (band saws, juicers, grinders, slicers, tenderizers).
• Perform safety audits on customer equipment.
• Maximize sales by delivering KASCO products and full line of repair services.
• Prospect independent specialty stores, small packers and small chains for new business.
• Provide technical support to customers on proper use of equipment.
• Maintain and forecast field inventory and place reorders with headquarters.
• Manage route territory according to schedule and ensure timely service.
• Process orders and invoice collection at store level, collecting on delivery when needed.
• Maintain safe work environment and professional company image.
