Job summary

Herc-U-Lift, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our service and repair team. This is a fast-paced role that travels to customer sites to repair material handling equipment. You are expected to respond to customer needs with technical expertise and clear communication to ensure satisfaction.

You will manage your workload from a company van, report via tablet, and coordinate with the service dispatch team to complete assignments while maintaining safety and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Experience in service/repair of material handling equipment.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in field conditions.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Diagnoses mechanical, electrical, or other breakdowns and repairs.
• Works with parts department to order and install replacement parts.
• Maintains own parts inventory and reports via tablet.
