Job Description
Essential Duties:
- Maintains a safe and well-organized work environment and models all health, safety and environmental procedures.
- Performs Preventative Maintenance (PM) to standard with no help.
- Performs most Call Outs (CO) without assistance from a technical expert. Diagnoses and repairs mechanical problems on equipment including gas process, gas production, oil processing, and oil production used within the region.
- Leads a team performing Major Maintenance (MM), Overhaul, and MOB / DEMOB projects to standard with limited to no assistance.
- Completes and submits required documentation accurately and timely.
Skills And Abilities:
- Perform all essential duties with proficiency.
- Demonstrate advanced diagnostic and repair skills on various equipment types.
- Lead teams during major maintenance and overhaul projects.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Read, write, and speak English proficiently.
- Model health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Use computer skills including Internet Explorer and Outlook effectively.
- Complete and submit documentation accurately and on time.
- Respond to after-hours requests on a regular basis.
Knowledge:
- Thorough knowledge of natural gas processing and production equipment.
- Knowledge of new technologies and troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of HSE procedures and regulations.
- General understanding of customer’s compression equipment and natural gas flow processes.
- Ability to follow maintenance standards accurately.
- Ability to tune processing equipment based on gas analysis.
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Serve as a resource for mentoring, knowledge transfer, and training.
- Occasionally lead a crew and provide technical guidance to technicians.
Physical Demands:
- Must meet medical and physical requirements to perform job tasks, including PPE requirements and ability to enter confined spaces.
- Ability to lift, move, and carry weights up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 110 pounds.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and extended travel.
Problem Solving and Impact:
- Resolve troubleshooting issues independently.
- Impact operational and financial results through effective actions and decisions.
Freedom to Act:
- Work with minimal supervision following detailed instructions and standard practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Gas processing or production classes preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience with natural gas processing or equipment repair.
