Job summary

Mustang Cat, a Caterpillar dealer serving Southeast Texas, is hiring a SITECH Field Service Technician. You will install, troubleshoot, and service machine control and construction technology systems on heavy equipment in the field.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with heavy equipment and electrical systems, strong mechanical aptitude, and a proactive, customer-focused attitude. Must be willing to learn new technologies and work on-site with customers.

Qualifications

• 1 year of heavy equipment and electrical systems experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Organized, with good communication and field-prioritization ability.
• Willingness to learn new construction technology and tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair machine control systems on heavy equipment.
• Use mechanical and electrical knowledge to diagnose issues at customer sites.
• Provide field service and technical support on job sites.
• Document service calls and communicate feedback to improve products and services.
• Collaborate with internal teams and manufacturers to resolve issues.
• Deliver professional customer service during field visits.
