Job summary

Guardian-Fueling-Technologies is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment, perform installations, and carry out scheduled maintenance for local customers. You will respond to service calls, diagnose issues, and communicate progress clearly while ensuring safety and compliance with company policies.

You will maintain tools and van, open work orders, and document repairs with accurate narratives.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of mechanical and electrical experience in a similar environment or equivalent training.
• Excellent people skills and verbal communication are required.
• Ability to read schematics and manuals.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Ability to provide superior customer relations and professional service.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots electro‑mechanical problems and performs installations and repairs.
• Performs scheduled maintenance and responds to unscheduled service calls.
• Maintains safety procedures and proper waste disposal.
• Opens/closes work orders and documents service activities clearly.
• Keeps van and tools organized and ensures 100% of paid time is accounted for.
