Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician II to join our team serving clients in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role involves performing responsibilities of a Level I installer while demonstrating advanced skills, certifications, and leadership abilities to lead installation teams. The technician will configure and program devices, oversee system commissioning, and provide customer training, ensuring high standards of installation and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all Level I installer duties following company documentation and standards.
  • Manage project and service tickets efficiently, ensuring prompt updates.
  • Understand project scopes and responsibilities, delivering quality results.
  • Lead and mentor Level 1 installers, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Communicate effectively with project teams and clients.
  • Work with nurse call, access, and surveillance systems.
  • Pursue professional development, especially in leadership and communication.
  • Perform Factory Authorized Testing (FAT) of products before installation.
  • Configure systems and oversee successful commissioning.
  • Accept additional duties as needed to support business operations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years in a construction trade.
  • Knowledge of electricity (high/low voltage).
  • Experience in the field from previous roles.
  • Basic telecommunications and networking skills.
  • Ability to read architectural drawings.
  • Management/supervisor experience.
  • Experience with service ticketing and project scope completion.
  • Knowledge of fire, CCTV, intrusion, nurse call systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid US Driver’s license.
