Field Service Technician Level II - Columbus, Ohio

We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician II to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This role involves executing responsibilities of a Level 1 installer with additional advanced skills, training, and leadership abilities. The technician will configure and program devices, oversee system commissioning, and provide customer training, ensuring high standards of installation and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform all Level I installer duties following documentation standards.
2. Manage project and service tickets efficiently.
3. Understand project scopes and ensure quality delivery.
4. Lead and mentor team members, fostering collaboration.
5. Communicate effectively with project teams and clients.
6. Work with nurse call, access, and video surveillance systems.
7. Engage in ongoing professional development, especially in leadership and communication.
8. Conduct Factory Authorized Testing (FAT) and system commissioning.
9. Adapt to additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 2 years in a construction trade.
2. Knowledge of electricity (high/low voltage).
3. Field experience and basic telecommunication knowledge.
4. Understanding of IT networking and IP addressing.
5. Ability to read architectural drawings.
6. Team management experience.
7. Experience with service ticketing and relevant systems.
8. Knowledge of fire, CCTV, intrusion, nurse call systems.
9. Excellent communication skills.
10. Valid US Driver’s license.
