Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician II to join our team serving clients in Columbus, Ohio. This role involves advanced skills beyond Level 1, including configuring and programming devices, overseeing system commissioning, and providing customer training. The position is key to ensuring high-quality installations and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all Level I responsibilities following our documentation standards.
• Manage project and service tickets efficiently, ensuring prompt updates.
• Understand project scopes and take accountability for tasks.
• Lead and mentor team members, fostering collaboration and growth.
• Communicate effectively with project teams and clients.
• Work with nurse call, card access, and video surveillance systems.
• Engage in professional development, focusing on leadership and communication.
• Conduct Factory Authorized Testing (FAT) to ensure quality standards.
• Configure and commission systems reliably for clients.
• Accept additional duties as needed to support business operations.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years in a construction trade.
• Knowledge of electricity (high/low voltage).
• Hands-on experience in the field.
• Basic telecommunications and networking skills.
• Ability to read architectural drawings.
• Management or supervisory experience.
• Experience with service ticketing processes.
• Knowledge of fire, CCTV, intrusion, nurse call systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid US Driver’s license.
