Job summary

Leonardo DRS Naval Power Systems in Menomonee Falls, WI is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide highly complex technical support, lead lower-level technicians, and act as an expert to customers on advanced issues.

This on-site role involves travel to customer sites up to 75%, with responsibilities including troubleshooting, reporting, and educating users on complex equipment. DOD clearance or ability to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3+ years of related work experience.
• Methodical documentation skills for accurate service reports.
• Proficient with laptops, mobile devices and related software.
• Experience with C, C++, Java and Visual Basic is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues with creative problem solving.
• Prepare reports evaluating service issues.
• Demonstrate setup and adjustment of complex equipment for users.
• Complete on-site service documentation and feedback for installations.
• Research and deliver complex technical solutions to customers.
• Determine cost-effective products or services for customer needs.
• Analyze test results and adjust equipment to specifications.
• Propose changes in product or test methods.
