Job summary

Mayekawa Usa Inc is seeking an experienced service technician to perform pre-commissioning, commissioning, operation and maintenance of gas processing equipment in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area.

You will lead start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of refrigeration and gas processing facilities, while documenting work and promoting company services at customer sites. Frequent travel and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration and Freon Systems.
• Read and understand wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Basic computer skills for documentation.
• Experience with screw compressors and electrical troubleshooting.
• Adherence to safety practices and ability to work unsupervised.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work on-site with customers.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-commissioning, commissioning, operation and maintenance activities.
• Lead start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of gas processing equipment and gas compressors.
• Manage startup and commissioning of refrigeration and gas processing facilities.
• Conduct fault finding and root cause analysis on related equipment and control systems.
• Assist customers with maintenance/repair options and upgrades.
• Create, update, track and complete commissioning reports.
• Write detailed work order reports and maintain documentation.
• Promote services to customers and generate return service opportunities.
• Maintain clean and organized jobsite and company vehicle/equipment.
• Comply with company policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned.
