Job summary

RDO Equipment Co. is seeking a mobile diesel technician to travel to customer locations and perform in-field diagnostics and repairs on heavy machinery.

You will disassemble and recondition components, document parts used, and maintain a professional image while ensuring high customer satisfaction. The role requires excellent mechanical skills, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent mechanical skills and be able to diagnose and repair machinery in the field.
• Strong customer service and communication skills to interact with customers professionally.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to document work accurately on work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-field machinery diagnostics and repairs at customer sites.
• Serve as in-field representative to provide service solutions and improve customer satisfaction.
• Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, and service equipment as assigned by supervisor.
• Document machine information and parts used on work orders.
• Maintain a clean work area and care for tools and equipment.
• Identify and communicate solutions for customer service opportunities.
• Stay current on equipment knowledge within the dealership's area.
