Vertiv, a global leader in mission-critical infrastructure, seeks a Field Technician in Nashville to support start-up commissioning, integration, emergency service and troubleshooting of MV electrical switchgear and automation equipment.
You will build strong customer rapport, perform preventive maintenance, respond to emergencies, and ensure safe operations while accurately reporting timecards and expenses. Travel up to 80% is required.
A Field Technician is responsible for assisting in start-up commissioning, integration, emergency service and troubleshooting of Vertiv medium voltage electrical switchgear, circuit breakers, protective relays, plc, meters and other automated devices as well as mechanical repairs and modifications. The FT is required to establish, promote, and maintain excellent rapport with all customers, co-workers, sales representatives and others as appropriate. The FT is also required to maintain continuous communication with CRC, Supervisor, and direct manager.
A Field Technician is responsible for assisting in start-up commissioning, integration, emergency service and troubleshooting of Vertiv 15KVAC electrical switchgear.
5+ years of hands-on Medium Voltage switchgear or field services is desired.
Due to the safety sensitive aspect of the role, candidates are required to successfully pass a drug test prior to employment. In addition, candidates will also be required to complete and pass a pre-employment background check.
