Field Service Technician III

Job Description:

Renu Robotics is seeking technicians in the Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas area to set up, install, maintain, and repair its fleet of autonomous tractors in many states across the country. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, be comfortable with computers and apps to set up and install systems, be able to work in the field operating from phone support, and be familiar with safety protocols associated while working around electrical equipment and batteries.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide service and customer support during field visits and phone/zoom when remote.
2. Manage and perform all on-site installations, repair, maintenance, and testing.
3. Diagnose technical problems with the help of engineering support.
4. Operate vehicles in a safe manner on customer sites and at all times.
5. Follow strict safety guidelines when working at customer sites and when around equipment.
6. Cooperate with the technical team and share information across the organization.
7. Provide customer training on setup, service, and repair.
8. Build positive relationships with customers.
9. Regular, clear communications with the Engineering team.
10. Must have a strong technical, electrical, mechanical background.

Qualifications:

1. Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
2. Technical degree or certification in electrical systems.
3. Must be a US citizen and authorized to work in the US with good verbal and written communication skills.
4. Must be able to travel a significant amount for installations throughout the country and be away for up to 2 to 3 weeks at a time.
5. You must have high energy, be willing to learn, and be skilled with technology.

Pay:

Pay is determined based on experience and capabilities. $22.00 - $30.00 Hourly depending on experience.
