Job summary
Stolle Machinery Co., LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician II to provide remote and on-site support for Stolle product lines at domestic and international locations. You will install, start up, troubleshoot, repair, and train customers, ensuring equipment performance and satisfaction.
The role requires 3-5 years in field service, strong mechanical and Electrical aptitude, travel 20-70% and the ability to obtain a passport.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree, GED or vocational training in Industrial Mechanics or related field.
- Skilled trades certificate required.
- 3–5 years experience with Stolle product lines.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Mechanically inclined with strong math aptitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in canmaking industry and understanding blueprints/specs.
- Proficient with MS Office and business software.
Responsibilities
- Perform machine audits/overhauls and advise on parts or repairs.
- Set up/start up and warranty adjustments for smoother operation.
- Provide remote and on-site field service support and training.
- Diagnose machinery issues by phone and visually on site.
- Document issues and submit accurate service reports.
- Maintain contact with base and peer technicians for escalation.
- Install/de-bug electrical assemblies, sensors, and systems.
