Responsibilities

• Conducts all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to safety, environmental and contamination control policies. Wears proper PPE.
• Attends required technician training classes.
• Maintains necessary set of tools to diagnose, disassemble and assemble components per manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnoses and performs designated repairs on equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs.
• Inspects components to maximize parts reuse to control repair costs and documents repairs and times.
• Monitors job expenses versus repair estimates and notifies supervisor of cost overruns before job completion.
• Trains and mentors others in the department and supports team safety and quality standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
