Job summary

Ring Power Corporation, Inc. is seeking a Service Field Tech II to perform diagnostics and repairs on customer or company‑owned equipment. You will maintain tools, document repairs, and ensure safety and quality standards are met while working within established budgets.

The role requires 3–4 years of experience, high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. Training to designated Service Field Tech II will be completed as part of the role.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 3–4 years of experience.
  • Able to understand written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.
  • Valid Driver License.
  • Completed required training to be designated Service Field Tech II.
  • Proficiency in use of a computer, Microsoft Office products and relevant Dealer software programs (desired).

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and perform designated repairs on customer or company‑owned equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain necessary tools required for job performance to diagnose, disassemble and assemble components to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Inspect components to ensure maximum parts reuse to control repair costs; complete required documentation using appropriate software to record repairs performed and account for repair times.
  • Monitor job expenses versus repair estimates and ensure the supervisor is aware of any cost over‑run prior to the job's completion.
  • Train and/or mentor others in the department.

Job description

Primary Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to all applicable safety, environmental and contamination control policies, procedures and regulations. Wear proper personal protective equipment.
  • Attend and successfully complete required technician training classes.
  • Maintain necessary tools required for job performance to diagnose, disassemble and assemble components to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Diagnose and perform designated repairs on customer or company‑owned equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs.
  • Work in a neat and orderly fashion, constantly look for ways to improve methods of work, work area and safety standards.
  • Inspect components to ensure maximum parts reuse to control repair costs; complete required documentation using appropriate software to record repairs performed and account for repair times.
  • Monitor job expenses versus repair estimates and ensure the supervisor is aware of any cost over‑run prior to the job's completion.
  • Approach work positively, maintain supportive conduct for the work team and set the standard for others to follow; contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks on time while maintaining safety and quality expectations.

Education and Experience
  • Formal Education: High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience: 3–4 years.

  • Successfully completed all required training curriculum to be designated Service Field Tech II.
  • Proficiency in use of a computer, Microsoft Office products and relevant Dealer software programs (desired).
