Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Road Mechanic to service our nationwide fleet from multiple locations, including opportunities in North Carolina.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel and hydraulic equipment, across makes and models, in a safety‑conscious environment. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience, and a valid driver’s license (CDL may be required in some locations).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school preferred.
• 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment mechanic experience.
• Valid driver's license; CDL may be required in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics on equipment.
