Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician II (T2) in Hillsboro, OR to work with Field Service Engineers to maintain customer equipment through preventive maintenance and rapid diagnostics.

You will communicate with customers, follow safety protocols, and gain hands-on experience with electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems while traveling up to 10% of the time.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn electrical, mechanical and vacuum systems.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Field Service Engineers to maintain customer equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic and gas systems.
• Coordinate and communicate directly with customers to ensure uptime.
