Alma Lasers is seeking a Field Service Technician II to travel across the East Coast, performing repairs and preventative maintenance on medical-aesthetic devices. The role requires strong electrical repair skills, the ability to read schematics, and customer-facing communication.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in electrical or electronic repair is required.
• 4+ years of Field Service experience is required.
• Experience with component level repair is preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning medical instruments or equipment.
• Repair equipment after diagnosis.
• Read diagrams and schematics to perform full board swaps as needed.
• Test machines after repair to ensure proper functionality.
• Maintain and complete all repair documentation paperwork.
• Provide Level 2 support via phone to customers and internal employees.
• Mentor and aid other field service personnel.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position also utilizes hand tools and electrical meters.**Physical Demands**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
