Toshiba America Business Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician II to join the Rochester, NY team. You will service, repair, install, and upgrade office technology at customer sites, keeping printers, copiers, and Managed Print Services running smoothly.

You’ll document service activities, receive training, and work in a dynamic environment with opportunities for career growth within a global technology leader.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of technical repair/service/installation experience with copiers, printers, or related office equipment.
• Strong electro-mechanical aptitude and intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and office technology at customer locations.
• Provide product training and support to customers.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, removals, and retrofits.
• Complete service calls based on priority and manage your schedule.
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment; perform preventative maintenance.
• Document service activities accurately and follow safety policies.

Join Toshiba America Business Solutions as a Field Service Technician II in Rochester, NY

You’ll work with industry-leading office technology while supporting customers throughout your assigned territory. From troubleshooting and repairs to installations and upgrades, you’ll play a key role in keeping multifunction printers, copiers, and Managed Print Services (MPS) environments running at their best.

What you’ll do

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations
• Provide product training and support to customers
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits.
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule effectively
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance
• Complete required Toshiba, dealer, and manufacturer training, and rebuild components in the shop as needed
• Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures

What You’ll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment, Photo ID systems/software, printers, ID Badge systems, fingerprint equipment, or comparable products
• Relevant education, certifications, or internships in related fields may be considered in lieu of the required experience
• Intermediate computer skills and strong electro‑mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy for positions requiring the use of a personal vehicle for company business

Earn Well

• Hourly range $20.00-$23.50, depending on experience.
• Monthly Performance Based Technician Bonus - up to $4,800 per year—$400 per month.
• Fleet Vehicle and gas card when available.
