Job summary

Cardinal Equipment Services is seeking a Field Service Technician I, Install based out of the Tampa, FL region with travel to Sarasota/Bradenton. The role requires 6AM to finish, Monday–Friday with flexibility based on business needs.

This position covers beverage equipment installation, removal, repair, and relocation, plus parts accountability and customer relations. Overnight travel may be required, domestic and international as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Soft drink and draught beer mechanical service experience preferred.
• Basic plumbing and electrical experience preferred.
• Ice Maker experience.
• Valid Driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
• Valid Passport.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive customer and co-worker relationships.
• Record and account for billable time, parts and services related to work assignments.

Cardinal Equipment Services is looking for a Field Service Technician I, Install based out of our Tampa, FL location with travel to Sarasota/Bradenton. We’re currently looking for, working 6AM to Finish, Monday through Friday with flexibility based on business needs.

Job Summary

The Field Service Technician , Install I will provide support to the Cardinal Equipment Service Department performing essential mechanical duties and department functions. This role will be responsible for a wide variety of assignments associated with - but not limited to beverage equipment installation, removal, repair, and relocation. Additional responsibilities include parts and equipment accountability, resource management, customer relations, job site surveys and working closely with customers and co-workers.

This position will require flexibility to work various schedules and travel with overnight lodging likely. Travel will include domestic and international as required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Beverage Equipment Installation, Removal, Modification, Move and Repair.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to troubleshoot and determine what kind of maintenance is needed.

• Repair equipment using the needed tools.

• Basic computer skills.

• Use of basic hand tools, electric and battery drills, and saws.

• Ability to use a lift cart and ladder.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Soft drink and draught beer mechanical service experience preferred.

• Basic plumbing and electrical experience preferred.

• Ice Maker experience.

• Valid Drivers’ license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.

• Valid Passport.

Work Environment

• Customer accounts, theme parks, cruise ships both indoors and outdoors.

• Travel Potential - 65%.

• Potential of working in tight and cramped spaces.

Physical Requirements

• Repeated sitting, standing on cement floors, walking, pushing/pulling, lifting, carrying, up to 35 lbs.

• Frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, twist, reach, grasp, and make repetitive hand movements in the performance of daily duties.

• Continuous bending, kneeling squatting, grasping, reaching, fine manipulation and exposure to chemicals and noise.
