Clean Energy Fuels in the Washington, DC area is hiring a service technician to inspect, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment at CNG/LNG fueling locations. Candidates need a high school diploma (preferred) or equivalent and at least 2 years related experience; basic mechanical or electrical knowledge and comfort with service software are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (preferred) or equivalent plus 2 years related experience.
• Basic mechanical or electrical knowledge.
• Basic computer knowledge, especially using service software.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and adjust electrical equipment for safe operation.
• Repair, replace, and adjust malfunctioning equipment per manuals.
• Inspect, maintain and adjust mechanical equipment such as compressors and pumps.
• Make scheduled inspections of fueling locations and equipment.
• Diagnose and correct faulty components in CNG/LNG/LCNG systems.
• Document activity and service orders in the field service software.
