Job summary

Clean Energy in Washington, DC is seeking a skilled technician to inspect, maintain and repair electrical and mechanical systems at CNG/LNG fueling locations. You will perform inspections, diagnose faults, and ensure safe, compliant operation across multiple sites.

Requires a high school diploma (preferred) with 2 years related experience, basic mechanical/electrical knowledge, and the ability to use service software and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred or equivalent plus 2 years related/experience.
• Basic mechanical or electrical knowledge.
• Basic computer knowledge, especially using service software.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and adjust electrical equipment (wiring, panels, switchgear, motors, sensors) for safe operation.
• Repair, replace, and adjust malfunctioning equipment per regulations and manuals.
• Inspect, maintain and adjust mechanical equipment (compressors, pumps, engines, valves, piping) for safe operation.
• Diagnose and correct faulty components related to CNG/LNG/LCNG fueling systems.
• Document activity, service orders and recommendations in D365 Clean Energy Field Service Automation (FSA).
• Availability to be on-call 24/7 and possible overtime; travel between sites as needed.
