Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is hiring a Field Service Technician I to support Buffalo, NY. You will service black & white, color printers, copiers, and multifunction devices at customer sites, performing maintenance, repairs, and installations while building cross-functional expertise for future growth within Toshiba.

You will travel within the Buffalo area, diagnose issues, train users, and ensure equipment runs smoothly to support client operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in technical repair/installation of copier/office equipment or related tech.
• Advanced education/certifications may count toward experience.
• Intermediate computer skills and strong electro‑mechanical aptitude.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance per Toshiba policy.

Your core focus as Field Service Technician will be to provide on-site technical support and maintenance for black and white, color, and multifunctional printers, copiers, and other devices at customer locations. This position will enable you to directly impact our customers, the local businesses, organizations, and institutions that are pillars of our communities by ensuring that their office equipment is functioning properly to drive their organizations forward.

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 years or more of expertise in one or more of the following:
  • Technical repair, service, and installation of copier/office equipment (Preferred)
  • Technical service, repair or training of Photo ID systems/software, printers, ID Badge, or Fingerprint equipment
  • Technical service, repair, or support of comparable products
• Advanced education or certification or internships in respective areas can be used to meet experience requirement
• Intermediate computer skills and good electro‑mechanical skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and comfortable with frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
• A valid driver's license and auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy for positions entailing use of personal car while on company business

Earn Well

• Hourly Range: $17.00-$19.00, depending on experience.
• Monthly Technician Bonus up to $450.00, per month
• Mileage Reimbursement or Fleet Vehicle and gas card (based on availability)
