Job Description: Field Service Technician (Full-Time Hourly)

Position Type: Full-Time Hourly (Pay Rate: $25–$45/hour, Overtime Eligible)

As we expand our operations, we seek highly skilled, proactive, and certified Field Service Technicians to deliver outstanding technical support and installations across various sites.

Role Summary:

As a Field Service Technician, you will be our frontline representative, performing high-quality IT installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks. Your technical expertise, reliability, and professional approach will directly impact customer satisfaction and contribute significantly to our company's growth and reputation.

Core Responsibilities:

• Execute structured cabling projects (copper and fiber), ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Perform hardware installations, network equipment setups, and technical troubleshooting on-site.
• Install, configure, and maintain networking hardware, telecom systems, IP cameras, and other IT infrastructure.
• Conduct cable terminations, splicing, and comprehensive cable management.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols during installations and maintenance.
• Provide clear documentation, including detailed notes, photos, and signed Work Orders upon job completion.
• Communicate promptly and effectively with the operations coordinator regarding project status, requirements, and technical needs.

Qualifications:

• BISCI Certification strongly preferred.
• Proven field service experience with expertise in structured cabling, networking, telecom, and related IT infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with excellent time management.
• Capable of working independently and responsibly on-site.
• Good communication skills and professional client-facing demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional certifications or specialized training (e.g., Cisco, CompTIA Network+, fiber-optic certifications).
• Previous experience working with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) or direct enterprise IT field support.
