Job Title: Field Service Technician I
Location: Albuquerque, NM 87107
Duration: 3-Month Contract to hire
Position Details
- Work Environment: This is an in-person, field-based role with on-site client visits required.
- Responsibilities: Providing general IT support at client sites, including running break-fix and IMAC calls, supporting various technology devices such as printers, laptops, servers, and networks. Support levels vary depending on the customer.
- Key Skills: Hands-on hardware repair (printers, PCs, POS systems), use of power tools (e.g., drills), familiarity with ticketing systems.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm. After completing required certifications and training, there will be rotating on-call duties and potential overtime.
- Experience: 2-5 years preferred, but training will be provided.
- Certifications/Education: A+ certification is a plus but not required. Lexmark certifications and experience are beneficial. Experience with Lexmark, HP, Dell, Lenovo devices is a plus but not necessary.
- Compensation: $21.00 per hour for contract-to-hire.
- Driving: Mileage varies; longer distances may be involved, with mileage compensated. Coverage includes the Albuquerque Metropolitan Area and occasionally Santa Fe.
