Job summary

Uniflex of America LLC is seeking a skilled Service Technician in Schaumburg, IL. The role involves hands-on mechanical work, troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical systems, and direct customer interaction across North America.

You will repair, commission, and maintain Uniflex equipment, travel up to 50%, and support the Sales team with quotations. Strong problem-solving and field service experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of machine repair or similar hands-on technical experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hydraulic-fluid power knowledge.
• Electrical controls knowledge and ability to troubleshoot circuits.
• Ability to read fluid power and electrical schematics.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site and Service Department repairs and commissioning.
• Travel North America 25–50% for field service and training.
• Prepare quotations for field service, PM, and training.
• Document field service reports with photos when required.
• Collaborate with Germany-based technical team for issue resolution.
• Maintain a clean, organized Service Department and showroom area.
• Assist sales with quotations for spare parts and visits to customers.
