Job summary

Quincy Compressor is seeking an Air Compressor Field Service Technician to cover the Huntsville, AL territory. You will troubleshoot and repair air compressors, dryers, and related equipment, ensuring safe, high-quality service.

You’ll work closely with customers and the Service Manager, complete all paperwork, train others, and participate in a rotating on-call schedule. A valid license, 3–5 years of compressor experience, and relevant certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• 3-5 years of experience as a compressor technician.
• Expertise in mechanical, electrical, or electronic repair.
• Refrigeration, oil free, high pressure and vacuum certified.
• Customer-focused and takes ownership of meeting customer needs.
• Able to supply all basic required tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, auto drains, flow controllers, vacuum pumps, and blowers.
• Pressure wash and clean the customer’s equipment pad (skids, coolers, concrete, tanks, etc.).
• Communicate with customer and Service Manager about services performed and options for repairs or upgrades.
• Complete all work orders, start-up forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, and parts return slips.
• Train and assist other Service Technicians.
• Promote and practice proper safety procedures and PPE use.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems as needed.
• Participate in rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool as scheduled by the Service Manager.

We are looking for an Air Compressor Field Service Technician to join our team to cover the Huntsville, AL territory.

To best serve our customers, we are increasing our presence within our field service area. This supports our mission in providing safe and high-quality service that is performed with great efficiency to our customers. As a Field Service Technician, you are an important part of this mission. You will be close to your customers and service our products to provide a great customer experience. You will report to the Service Manager.

• You will troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers (regenerative and refrigerated), auto drains, flow controllers, vacuum pumps, and blowers
• You will pressure wash (where possible) and effectively clean the customer’s entire equipment pad including skids, coolers, concrete, tanks, etc.
• You will communicate with the customer and Service Manager regarding all services performed and clearly present all options for any required repairs, upgrades, or other customer needs
• You will completely fill out all work orders, start-up forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, and parts return slips
• You will train and assist other Service Technicians
• You will promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal and protective equipment
• You will set, install, and pipe compressor systems as needed
• You will participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool with other Technicians as scheduled by the Service Manager

To succeed, you need
