Job summary

Champion Home Builders, Inc. in Ephrata, PA is seeking a Service Technician to perform warranty work on sold homes and repair common service issues in the field, with support from the Ephrata facility. The role emphasizes handyman skills and ensuring customers stay happy with their new home.

You will schedule appointments, pick up parts, verify orders, install or repair components, and maintain records while representing Champion in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• Must be able to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Computer literacy with MS Word/Outlook/Excel.
• Understand and comply with work safety policies and procedures.
• Must provide a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage work schedule by making appointments with customers.
• Pick up parts from the factory as needed.
• Verify parts with orders.
• Install new parts or repair issues per work order.
• Maintain logbook as per the Department of Transportation.
• Maintain company vehicle, keeping it clean, stocked, and serviced.
• Complete work orders and return them to the factory by mail or delivery.
• Represent Champion Home Builders with a friendly attitude and professional appearance.
• Demonstrate strong customer relations skills.
