Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and gasoline golf cars and turf vehicles in the Indiana region.

You will travel to customer sites, perform set-ups and deliveries, and maintain service records to ensure continuous operation and customer satisfaction. The role requires 2+ years of mechanical experience, a high school diploma (or equivalent), and a valid driver’s license with adherence to TSV Pool, Fleet, and

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, technical certification/diploma preferred
• Years of Experience: 2 or more years of mechanical experience, previous experience servicing golf cars preferred
• Must possess a valid drives license and must comply with TSV Pool, Fleet, and DOT policies

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment failures in the field.
• Perform product deliveries, retrievals, and set-ups to provide continuity of service and maintenance of accounts.
• Produce accurate, reliable, and timely information for all necessary work orders, parts orders, delivery reports, timesheets, and other paperwork as required.
• Communicate sales leads and customer feedback to appropriate parties including the service manager, technical representative or designated sales professional.
• Manage and maintain all assigned company equipment, inventory, and tools.
• Maintain assigned company vehicle and/or trailer in the areas of cleanliness, preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Comply with all state and local laws while operating company vehicle.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned by management.
