Job summary

Pape’ Material Handling is seeking a Periodic Maintenance Technician to service forklifts and equipment at customer sites. You will perform periodic maintenance and minor repairs, ensuring peak performance and uptime. The role requires travel, strong customer interaction, and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• 2+ years servicing electric and internal combustion lift trucks and construction equipment.
• Self-motivation and assertive attitude.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must have own tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service forklifts and equipment at customer locations, performing periodic maintenance and minor repairs (lights, belts, engine tune-ups, hoses).
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained, running in peak form, and uptime is maximized.
• Travel in a Pape’ service vehicle, perform high-quality work, interact with customers, and be dependable to get the job done right.
