Job summary

Pape’ Material Handling, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician/Mechanic for periodic maintenance of forklifts and related equipment at customer sites in the Santa Clarita area.

The role involves servicing both electric and internal combustion lift trucks, performing minor repairs, and ensuring customers’ equipment remains in peak condition. The successful candidate will have 1+ year of hands-on experience, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills to interact with customers.

Qualifications

• 1+ year servicing electric and internal combustion lift trucks and construction equipment.
• Self-motivation and assertive attitude.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to work under little supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic maintenance on forklifts and equipment at customer locations.
• Execute minor repairs such as lights, belts, engine tune-ups, and hoses.
• Ensure customer equipment is maintained, running at peak performance and uptime.
