Job summary

REIC Rentals is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of rental equipment across shop and customer sites in Evans, CO. You will troubleshoot and service gas/diesel-powered machinery, HVAC systems, generators, and light towers while traveling to customer sites throughout Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah.

Read schematics and diagrams, document findings, and train customers on proper operation and maintenance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field service technician experience in oilfield, construction, heavy equipment, or industrial environments.
• Personal set of technician tools.
• Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing gas, diesel, HVAC, hydraulic, electrical, and lighting systems.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR required).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Veterans encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on rental equipment in both shop and field environments
• Install, service, and repair a variety of equipment, including gas and diesel‑powered machinery, HVAC systems, generators, and light towers
• Travel to customer sites throughout Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and document findings
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and mechanical drawings
• Maintain accurate service records using mobile and digital reporting tools
• Provide professional customer support, including training customers on proper equipment operation and maintenance
• Collaborate with teammates and elevate complex technical issues when necessary
• Follow all company and customer safety policies and procedures

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Frequent travel throughout Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah
• Overnight travel and occasional weekend work required based on business needs

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of field service technician experience in oilfield, construction, heavy equipment, or industrial environments
• Personal set of technician tools
• Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing gas, diesel, HVAC, hydraulic, electrical, and lighting systems
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with experience supporting a diverse equipment fleet
• Ability to work safely in physically demanding environments and varying weather conditions
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic informationExcellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and professionally
• CDL preferred but not required
