Job description

Job Summary

Fitness Machine Technicians is looking for a Field Service Technician to perform both repair and preventive maintenance services for residential and commercial customers. If you are a go-getter, this is the job for you! Must be awesome at customer service and quality control.

Responsibilities

  1. Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on various pieces of fitness equipment at customer locations.
  2. Identify replacement parts needed for repairs.
  3. Assemble and disassemble equipment and perform equipment installations at commercial facilities.
  4. Complete accurate and thorough customer work order reports using our Field Service Management software.
  5. Interact with customers in a professional manner to explain repairs and equipment failures.
  6. Occasionally lift heavy equipment.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum 1 year of mechanical/electrical aptitude and experience working with hand tools required.
  2. Minimum 1 year of experience working with a digital multi-meter preferred.
  3. Positive attitude, professional appearance, and ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers.
  4. Ability to use a phone/tablet for scheduling and job reports.
  5. Daily local travel required.
  6. Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
  7. A self-starter with problem-solving skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and plan, organize, and manage a variety of tasks.
  9. Applicants must be able to pass a background check.
