Job summary

Strong Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to support cinema projection, digital signage, and audio systems. You will perform maintenance, site surveys, and service calls across a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

The role requires up to 70-80% travel, weekend/on-call availability, and strong electronics knowledge. An AA or equivalent, and Pro-AV experience are preferred. Join a growth-focused team delivering cutting-edge digital cinema tech.

Qualifications

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical field.
Experience with electronics related to the Pro-Av market.
Familiarity with computer and networking concepts and architecture.
Experience with digital cinema equipment is preferred.
Strong attention to detail.
Proficient with MS Office.
Valid state-issued driverd license.
Ability to stand, sit, squat and bend for periods of time.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Comfortable working in a high-stress, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Good time management, organizational, and analytical skills.
Self-starter who can identify and resolve issues.
Ability to interface with a wide range of personnel.

Responsibilities

Performs maintenance on cinema projection equipment, digital signage, sound systems, servers, and power supplies.
Provides demand service for customers; determines and executes a support plan.
Tests electronic assembly, components or parts with equipment like oscilloscopes, voltmeters, etc.
Examines equipment and replaces defective components; repairs and tests, resolving firmware and software issues.
Directs investigation of customer complaints regarding quality, tolerances, specifications, and delivered condition of products.
Records, analyzes, and informs appropriate personnel of production quality and status of complaints.
Installs electronic or digital equipment and tests.
Records activities in Field Point daily (work description, expenses, hours, travel).
Willing to take ownership and take on other duties as assigned.
Position requires 70-80% travel; may include weekends, holidays, and on-call.
