Job summary

A manufacturing facility in York, SC is seeking a Field Diesel Technician on the first shift. This role requires 3–5 years of Diesel Technician experience, travel and on-call availability, and a fast-paced environment with upward progression. • Has Proficient knowledge of Electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Has good Troubleshooting abilities.
• Being able to weld and read welding blueprints is a plus.

This company is growing quickly and willing to train for upward progression. This is a Direct Hire opportunity. This role will operate off the 1st shift schedule Monday-Thursday. 3-5 years of Diesel Technician experience required! Travel and on-call availability is required as well.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, restoration and repair of Hydra Platform equipment at our location and occasionally at the customer’s location
• Has a Mechanical background with hydraulics

• Has good Troubleshooting abilities
• Being able to weld and read welding blueprints is a plus

The essential functions of this role include

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 10 hours at one time
• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week

Skills

• CDL (3 years of experience is preferred)
• Field Service Experience (4 years of experience is preferred)
• Small Engine Repair (4 years of experience is preferred)
