What To Expect
As a Commercial Field Service Technician, you will work across the Tesla organization to troubleshoot and ensure successful service of our Commercial Energy products, primarily solar PV systems. This role involves diagnosing, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and traveling 100% within the contiguous United States.

What You'll Do

  1. Assist in the assembly and installation of solar modules, mounting hardware, and electrical equipment.
  2. Organize trucks for daily installs/removals, ensuring a neat and efficient setup.
  3. Perform preventive maintenance on Commercial PV systems and mentor team members as needed.
  4. Respond to corrective maintenance cases and update logs accurately.
  5. Address customer concerns regarding system performance or functionality.

What You'll Bring

  • At least 2 years of experience with PV equipment and installation, preferably in commercial or utility-scale projects, with strong electrical knowledge.
  • Experience with power/hand tools, electrical equipment, and computer applications.
  • Ability to work at heights, in extreme environments, lift at least 50 pounds, and perform repetitive duties.
  • Capability to climb ladders, meet OSHA fall protection standards, and handle electrical tools and materials safely.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Expected Compensation

$24.95 - $42.97/hour plus cash and stock awards. Compensation varies based on experience, location, and other factors.
