Job summary

Nielson Construction & Materials, a CRH Company, is seeking a Service Technician in Huntington, UT to repair and maintain construction equipment across locations. You will troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and conduct preventive maintenance on trucks, batch plants, paving machines, and other heavy equipment.

Requirements include a High School diploma (GED) and 2–5 years of field service experience. A Class A/B CDL, DOT medical card, and Hazmat endorsement are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of field service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots problems and performs repairs on construction equipment.
• Dismantles equipment to access defective parts with hand tools.
• Maintains and repairs heavy equipment, trucks, and shop equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance, oil changes, lubrication, and fluid checks.
• Repairs electrical and hydraulic systems, diesel and gasoline engines, and transmissions.
• Orders parts, processes invoices, and maintains paperwork.
• Operates a laptop for diagnostics and work orders.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Operates and maintains field service truck.
