Job summary

Altorfer Cat East Peoria is seeking a field service technician to perform maintenance, diagnose and repair customer-owned construction and aerial work platform equipment, establishing service-oriented relationships with customers.

The role requires lifting up to 75 lbs, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with MS Office; formal training or 2+ years of experience preferred. Mon–Fri with overtime as needed; hourly wage in USD.

Qualifications

• Formal technical training or 2+ years related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of gas/diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook; DBS knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance, diagnosis and repairs on customer-owned equipment.
• Establish and maintain service-oriented relationships with customers.
• Pick up and deliver equipment when necessary.
• Answer calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
• Complete service reports and required paperwork before/after repairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
