Job summary

Burckhardt Compression (US) Inc. is seeking a Field Service Representative to support our service operations by performing mechanical maintenance, overhauls, troubleshooting, and repair work on compressor systems in the field.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in compressor maintenance, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read blueprints and interpret technical docs. This role involves travel, long shifts, and hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Vocational training or Associate Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in compressor maintenance and overhauls.
• Must provide basic hand tools.
• Valid driver's license required.
• English language communication required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on compressor and rotating equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Set up and operate machine tools, including lathes and mills.
• Conduct inspections to ensure components meet quality and tolerance requirements.
• Perform CNC programming and machine setup as required.
• Complete service reports, inspection documentation, and maintenance records.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Work independently and collaboratively with customers and internal teams.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
