Job summary

First Choice Coffee Services in Houston, TX is seeking a Service Technician to join our field team. You will perform preventive maintenance, installations, and emergency service on coffee equipment at customer sites, while keeping records accurate and organized.

You will also train customers on equipment use, manage parts and inventory, and handle occasional route deliveries when needed. A valid driver’s license and a proactive service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Past experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities on coffee brewing equipment, including emergency service calls, preventive maintenance, installations, and equipment removals at customer locations.
• Instruct customers on proper use of coffee equipment and respond to inquiries; communicate customer questions to First Choice staff.
• Complete all service calls and related paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain proper parts inventory for assigned service vehicle and inventory parts monthly.
• Refurbish and repair coffee equipment for customer sites.
• Prepare service orders, product disbursement sheets, monthly inventory, and parts inventory per First Choice procedures.
• Ensure service vehicle undergoes routine maintenance and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Take on route driver duties during vacations or absences; perform other deliveries as needed.
• Maintain and clean the service area.
• Receive and organize parts for equipment.
