As an apprentice, you will work closely with experienced senior technicians, gaining hands-on training and real-world exposure to transformer service, maintenance, and diagnostic work. This role offers solid growth opportunities in an expanding business area and is designed to build a strong foundation for long-term career advancement within Field Service.**How You'll Make an Impact*** Execute precision mechanical work in high-voltage electrical substations across diverse geographical regions under the guidance of senior technicians* Work side-by-side with experienced Field Service Technicians to learn transformer maintenance, service procedures, and troubleshooting techniques* Apply technical, mechanical, or military-acquired skills to real-world field service applications* Conduct equipment inspections and diagnostic assessments to support preventive maintenance efforts* Assist in servicing and repairing transformer systems using established processes and tools* Learn to analyze technical data and apply findings to critical customer challenges* Operate Vacuum Oil Processors (VOPs) and oil handling equipment with training and oversight* Maintain accurate processing logs and support transformer testing activities* Utilize digital tools and software platforms for documentation and site reporting* Collaborate with engineering teams, senior field staff, and customers to support maintenance strategies* Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and internal procedures**Your Background*** High School Diploma/GED plus 2+ years of professional work experience in technical or mechanical fields.
