Job summary

United Site Services is seeking a Utility Technician to operate Class A, B, and/or C trucks in support of field operations, delivering and servicing portable restrooms and related equipment across designated routes.

The role requires a minimum of two years of commercial driving, a valid CDL or non-commercial license, and strong time management, customer service and communication skills with a focus on safety and log compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Driver License (CDL or non-commercial).
• Excellent time management, customer service and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducts daily pre-shift & post-shift vehicle inspections and reports deficiencies.
• Reports improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual conditions to the Operations Manager.
• Operates service truck to and from pre-designated work sites based on routing information.
• Serves portable restrooms, holding tanks, septic tanks, sinks, showers at various sites following guidelines.
• Notifies management of issues on back-up route assigned.
• Maintains contact with dispatch for instructions and location changes.
• Maintains truck logs according to state and federal regulations.
• Follows all established safety rules & regulations.
• Operates flat bed truck to deliver or pick-up portable restroom units, sinks, holding tanks or containers.
• Updates tickets with delivery or pick-up details.
• Operates fence truck for fence materials and lead on fence jobs.
• Operates tanker/transfer truck and completes required paperwork.
• Performs special projects as assigned.
