Job summary

Cleaver-Brooks in Dallas, TX seeks a skilled Boiler Controls Technician to wire, commission, and service boiler systems in the field. You will move between shop wiring and customer sites, building panels and tuning combustion.

Responsibilities include testing controls on watertube and firetube boilers, troubleshooting field issues, and training colleagues. A strong technical background in PLCs and electrical systems is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical degree preferred.
• Experience with boiler controls and field service is essential.

Responsibilities

• Wire, integrate, and test controls on boilers and related auxiliaries.
• Rebuild/size valves and regulators; select trim and accessories.
• Assemble and test control panels from wiring diagrams.
• Commission and tune combustion on boilers at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot boilers and retrofit controls in the field.
• Train colleagues on boiler operations and controls.
