Job summary

Automatic Gate Systems is seeking a dedicated Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial automatic gate and access control systems in the field. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage components, respond to service calls, and perform system upgrades while ensuring safety and reliability.

The role requires hands-on experience with gate operators, access control devices, and safety systems, with a focus on customer service and clear on-site

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of experience servicing automatic gates, operators, or related equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Reading wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Experience with access control or CCTV systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automatic gate systems including sliding/swing gates and barrier arms.
• Troubleshoot gate operators, motors, control boards, and mechanical components.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Provide clear communications to customers and document repairs.
• Respond to emergency service calls and coordinate with dispatch.
