Job summary

Sure Power, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Technician to install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on sealed and flooded batteries, DC plants, and related power systems at customer sites.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license with a clean DOT record, willingness to travel including overnight trips, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Forklift experience and basic electrical aptitude are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with clean DOT record; ability to meet DOT requirements.
• Willingness to travel overnight and work nights/weekends as needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication; basic computer skills.
• 2+ years experience in electrical field; DC power/battery experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on batteries, chargers, racks, and power cables.
• Prepare materials and equipment for each job assignment.
• Drive a DOT-regulated commercial vehicle; load/unload and haul materials.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and battery lifts.
• Maintain a clean, safe job site and follow safety policies (OSHA/DOT Hazmat).
• Install battery cables and hardware; place batteries on racks or trays.
• Participate in required training and perform other duties as assigned.
